We decided to go to Milwaukee on Sunday. We stopped at the Children's Place outlet in Oshkosh and we burned up our grocery money we'd planned to spend at Trader Joe's, but that was okay-- Jeff and I both had fun helping the girls find some sweet clothes for summer. We ate lunch downtown Milwaukee at the Water Street Brewery. The menu was perfect for us and the food was amazing. We had originally planned to do both the Betty Brinn and also the Discovery Museum, but we only had time for one this trip. Since it was so nice out, we practically had it to ourselves, which was fun. It's not nearly as nice or as big as Appleton's children's museum, but the kids still loved it. We walked along Lake Michigan up to Veteran's Park afterward. (Mia kept referring to the lake as "the pond" so of course forevermore it shall be known as 'Pond Michigan' ). The weather was beautiful and we had a really nice day.
